Get Outside During ESY/Summer Speech Therapy!

Are you working ESY or doing summer speech therapy? Then check out my Get Up and Go Articulation game! It's perfect for getting your students outside and running around to burn off some of their energy during speech!

Before game play, place the three community helper mats in different locations and place three community helper tiles face down on each mat.

This game targets /r/, /r/ blends, /l/, and /l/ blends. The students take turns flipping over their cards (while practicing the targeted sound) and the card with the highest number wins the “trick”.

If a student wins a trick with a community helper card (which are numbered 11-19), then he must go find the community helper tile on one of the mats and bring it back. When a student plays a community helper card then the SLP/teacher must start the timer. If the student returns with the correct tile before the time is up then he wins the trick.
